It took me three years and two months to arrive at this moment, but arrive it did! And, I have visual proof. For all of this time, Maxine basically ignored my existence. Attempts (often comical in their result) to attract her attention failed. Finally, on May 11, 2000, she not only agreed to be picked up (at which point my wife grabbed her camera), but just at the instant that the shutter was released, she turned and gave me the very first kiss. I can happily report that there have been many more in the two years since.

Life is an ongoing management of relationships. Whether they are between a manager and employee, a businessman and a client, or simply a person with others (people as well as values and aspirations), relationships are the foundation of our existence. They are also the crux of our aspirations, and the basis on which success is founded.
